Some things, people, and places just don't deserve your energy or attention. It seems like we have to learn this the hard way but nonetheless it's apart of our journey to become better. I'm here for you looking your best on the outside, but sometimes we forget to do the inner work that makes us sparkle on the inside.
Being a fan and a half of social media, I am also not here for it at the same time. We spend so much of our lives clicking and watching what we did and what others are doing in a day that we forget to pause. We all need a gooooood pause if you ask me. Pausing can help you analyze your next move, the people in your life, and how you are actually feeling in the moment.
When was the last time you paused?
One thing that I have been practicing lately is not giving a fuck! Sorry for the language but I need y'all to feel me. There are just some things that you need to dump out of your mind in order to be free. Let me list a few for you :
- bad vibes
- toxic people
- negative thoughts
- self sabatoge
- getting angry
- self criticism
- cirticism of others
- self loathing
- depression
- finding flaws in others
- focusing on your own flaws
Now don't get me wrong these things can be hard to shake off since we develop habits and behavior that normalize those feelings. Today is your day to break free and get out your own way. Here are some steps you can take to move forward in life:
- write and read affirmations daily
- pray
- mediatate
- vizulaize the life you want
- leave that toxic person or people
- think highly of yourself
- believe in your self
- take a trip
- choose to be the bigger person
- do no harm but take no shit!
- raise your vibration
- help someone in need
If no one else told you today your a diamond!!!!! Remeber that diamonds don't start of polished and pretty like. They start of raw and it takes work to cut them into the shape that you desire. Think of yourself the same way. You must shape yourself into who you want to be, no one is going to do the work for you! But remember some people are not meant to be in your life forever. Take all the lessons you gained and do better you deserve it. Last but not least give no fucks!!!
